Welcome to the CCIIF website. It will keep you informed about the Chamber's activities and events, as well as current economic and trade news between Israel and France. It also includes a dedicated area for active CCIIF members.

The Israel-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry was founded in 1957 to help Israeli and French businesses establish and develop trade relations. Since then, we have provided them with a forum where they can benefit from support and assistance through professional networking and expert advice. In addition, the Chamber regularly organizes events such as conferences on the Israeli economy, meetings with Israeli and French leaders, ceremonies recognizing excellence in business relations, and other networking opportunities.

Diplomacy has its ups and downs; good news and bad news can alternate, but the CCIIF's focus is on business, not politics, and we concentrate on the potential outcomes between Israel and France. The remarkably enduring Abraham Accords serve as a prime example of the goals we should strive to achieve.

Despite the upheavals caused by the coronavirus and the war in recent years, the Israel-France Chamber of Commerce has taken several initiatives to continue providing added value to its members and helping them optimize their operations. This new website is the latest example, and we hope you enjoy it.

Past Hanukkah days during which darkness gives way to light, were probably the right time to encourage us to approach the New Year with an optimism built on CCIIF 2025 achievements: we consider them with some satisfaction, as in spite of the ongoing war we have managed to keep a decent level of service to the Chamber’s members and to sustain our growth.
 
In 2025 we have launched the yearly CCIIF Trophies, which honor companies operating in Israel for excelling in their business with France. In 2025 we have launched in Haifa CCIIF North in order to boost the relationship between Galilean manufacturers and France, trying along the way to help them solving their manpower shortage. CCIIF South in Beersheva and CCIIF East in Jerusalem should follow. In 2025 we have launched the Hi-Tech commission to deal with startups, innovators and investors.
 
In 2025 we have started or deepened our relationship with the General Consuls in Tel-Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem MM. Matthieu Clouvel-Gervaiseau, Georges Diener and Nicolas Kassianides. In 2025 we have run a significant number of conferences, round tables and other meetings with some outstanding guests like Israel Ambassador to France Joshua Zarka and Manufacturers Association of Israel Chairman Ron Tomer.
 
In 2025 we have launched the process to renew CCIIF statutes, we have devised a CCIIF Operating Guidance, we have published a table of CCIIF Membership benefits. A new Board of Directors has been elected by CCIIF General Assembly and has selected several of its Members to work as a Board Committee. CCIIF website www.cciif.org has been rebuilt from scratch and has become a daily operating tool, and we started this very CCIIF monthly Newsletter.
 
Last September CCIIF was privileged with a reception given in its honor by His Excellency the Ambassador of France Frederic Journes at his Jaffa Residence, an event which was joined by many Israeli CEOs, and we take this opportunity to thank him as well as his Economic Department and Business France for their readiness to support the Chamber when it is needed. Last major 2025 event was without any doubt the meeting in November of French Senators Evelyne Renaud-Garabedian, Sophie Briante Guillemont and Jean-Luc Ruelle, with the French speaking business community, a large audience gathered by CCIIF with the cooperation of most of the other France-Israel business concerned bodies.
 
So, bye 2025 which was “un bon cru”, a good vintage. Hello 2026 which is apparently starting under good auspices, considering the recent economic figures and the lasting ceasefire. It’s up to us to make it a success.
